Disability Insurance offered by Colonial Life & Accident Insurance Company replaces a portion of your income to help make ends meet if you are totally disabled due to a covered accident or illness.

All SEG employees are eligible including full-time, part-time and reduced-hour employees. Some will require that the employee be actively at work at the time of enrollment. Employees are eligible to contact the vendors to enroll on their first day of employment.
Employees can enroll at any time but may be required provide information regarding evidence of insurability.
Benefits will usually become active the first of the month following enrollment.
Each provider’s application includes a section for you to select your payment method. If you elect payroll deduction, the provider will send a file to SEG’s payroll based on your request. SEG’s payroll department will set up the deduction based on your payment amount.
