Employee Assistance Program (EAP)

SEG’s Employee Assistance Program (EAP) is a counseling service provided through First Sun EAP. The program offers counseling and assistance to help manage life's challenges. Each employee and members of the household can receive three no-cost counseling sessions and three life management services each year.

Benefits of the Employee Assistance Program

Life can be hard, sometimes talking with someone about your concerns can help you see solutions and ease your stress. Counselors assist employees with many personal issues, including:

  • Stress and anxiety
  • Depression
  • Grief and loss
  • Addiction
  • Work Problems
  • Marriage and Family Problems
  • Financial Services
  • Elder and Child Care Resources
  • Legal Consultation
  • Adoption Assistance
  • Health/Fitness Management Issues

The first 3 sessions are free. The sessions are confidential and may be conducted in person or by phone. Counselors are not employed by SEG and the reasons for counseling are not reported to SEG.

After the first 3 sessions, employees are responsible for the cost of counseling or treatment, which may be subject to insurance coverage including co-pays and deductibles.
